Summary: The Legend of Bagger Vance (book and movie) — We probably all know this one foremost as a golf story, but it’s also a golf-as-metaphor-for-faith story, with elements of deep friendship, fear, focus and, in the end, spiritual awakening in a sense that the Holy Spirit, in whatever form it manifests itself at the moment, has the power to transform, to teach, to lead the way forward. Those headlights illuminating the final green aren’t just headlights.
